This year, we have structured our program to equip our athletes with both the physical training and mental preparation needed to compete at a high level. We are also excited to partner with Transcend Clinical Services to offer monthly mental health sessions for athletes ages 9 and older, as well as their parents.

In addition, we provide several training pathways tailored to meet each athlete’s needs. Athletes do not need to be members of Ebenezer AME church to participate in the training programs. Please review the program options below:

Princess and Prince Training Program

Designed for athletes ages 6–8, this program includes two practices per month during January and February. These young athletes will also have the opportunity to participate in three local track meets.

Ebenezer AME Royal Runners Track Ministry

Created for athletes ages 8–18 of all levels, this program focuses on developing proper running mechanics, speed, strength, and mental resilience. Participants will have the chance to compete in two local events.

Royal Runners Track Club

This program is invite-only for experienced athletes who have achieved regionally competitive times or field-event marks. Our program will prepare them to compete against some of the top athletes in the country. Coaches will invite athletes to participate in the Royal Runners Track Club program based on their performance and their work ethic at practice. These athletes commit to additional training sessions throughout the week and home strength and conditioning workouts.
